Never Say Die!

it's like one after the other to the other to the other yeah yeah i

mean they just sound burnt out even it's like what can we do that makes sense because i mean so outside of between sabbath bloody sabbath sabotage and then never say die and tentacle uh ecstasy they lose the album every fucking year i mean that's a yeah i would be surprised surprised they didn't burn out and break up sooner i

mean they did burn out and did i remember he he was briefly replaced with a different singer for a while before this

yeah it was actually one of the songs on here was originally performed live with that singer but then when ozzy rejoined the band he rewrote the lyrics so

Yeah, yeah.

I will say that based on Tracy's breakdown of the grades, it will come as no surprise that David liked a few more tracks of this than I did.

I do like Never Say Die.

I really did like the guitar work on that.

... and you take, um, uh, I'm, I'm having a brain fart tonight.

What was the one with the blue cover? Never Say Die.

Jesus.

Never Say Die, yeah.

You take those two albums, then you take, um, Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules-

Oh, of course

Mm-hmm.

Like, great songs.

Yeah.

I think he does one on Never Say Die too if I'm not mistaken.

No, I think this is the only one that-

Oh, is it?

... that Ozzy didn't sing

...

I think he does Swinging the Chain on, uh, Never Say Die.

Really?

72 or 73, whatever it was.

Sabbath, the detecting ecstasy, and Never Say Die, I think.

So there's a great documentary on hypnosis on Netflix.

It's the story of, and they talk to the original guy.

I love that album.

That's even worse than Never Say Die.

No, it's not.

Ugh.

But the critics hated it.

And it's a Black Sabbath, actually an album, but I'm going to just go with the single here, Never Say Die, which is the last Ozzy album.

Critics hate it.

Metalheads never talk about it.

I don't even think Sabbath fans give this... uh any love okay but this this record never say die from 1978 again the album uh i think the making of this album if i remember from our black sabbath episode correctly was what forced uh ozzy's exit from the band they were like dude you're just too fucking macho we can't stand it so get out I think it was this album they were making when that happened.

It's, I love it.

I fucking love it.

It's great.
