Neve Yerushalayim

My mind was blown.

And Rabbi Fund, after a little while, said to me, "If you really want to learn Judaism, you have to go to Jerusalem, and I can get you a scholarship at a place called Neve Yerushalayim." [laughs] I mean, I'm laughing because, uh, Neve Yerushalayim was and is a kiruv, uh, institution where they teach p- women who have little or no Jewish background, they teach them Torah Judaism [laughs] and try to get them to become religious.

So of course they wanted people to come, but, uh, you know, he said he could get me a scholarship.

So I went to Jerusalem.

And between my summers, I actually went to seminary.

So I went to Neve Yerushalayim and I went to Midrash HaRachal V'chaya, which was amazing and completely changed my life.

And the more you learn, the more you realize you know nothing and how much more beautiful life is with Borei Olam and with Torah.

And I just really learned to love it.

You're crazy.

No.

And I remember I went to Neve Yerushalayim and I took a class with Rabbi Marcus and he completely switched my perspective in the most beautiful way possible.

So basically what he said is like having Yerushalayim, having fear means that you're afraid of being far from Hashem.

as many hours a day as you want.

This was a place called Neve Yerushalayim where they have scholarships, so I didn't have to pay.

I got to walk into a classroom.

I got to meet with people and ask any questions that I wanted.

And it is not for sale.

That is irreplaceable.

I feel so blessed that somehow of all the people in the world, I got plopped out of Yale graduation, somehow made it into Neve Yerushalayim, this Jewish seminary when I didn't even know Orthodox people.

And Hashem wired me in a way already where I was able to access what I saw and integrate it into my life for my own betterment.
