A suspect fled after a hit-and-run crash that injured five people near Jean early Friday morning, according to police.

Then at 1236 a.m., police said a second crash involving a hit-and-run happened at the same location.

Police said a vehicle struck a Clark County Fire and Rescue ambulance, a fire truck and a Chevy Malibu that were at the scene.

A Metro Police Lieutenant is accused of driving drunk last month near the Nevada-California state line.

The Nevada Highway Patrol arrested Joseph Elvin Winn Jr. in connection with a rollover crash south of Gene that broke his back on July 1st.

He faces two misdemeanor counts, including DUI.

Winn told officers he was driving his wife's Cadillac to a gas station when he hit a bump, according to an arrest report.
