And as the day and the next few days progressed, Our C-130s from the Nevada Air National Guard across the way were told, oh, they're going to be ginned up to send blood for all of the medical that would be needed on the East Coast.

And everything else was grounded.

We were going to be some of the only units that were flying there.

forgot to mention that after Active Duty Air Force, I was able to get on with the Nevada Air National Guard flying the C-130s.

If the airlines didn't hire me, I was thinking, well, that would be a good gig is to be a C-130 MAFs pilot and a lead plane pilot, but American called, and that's the direction I went.
