Following our earlier reports on BMO Trizinol's FDA clearance and Ultraviolet's first-to-shelf launch, cosmetics business reports Neutrogena has brought two BEMT formulations to the U.S. market, Ultra Sheer Daily Face Sunscreen SPF 70, which the brand says feels 50% lighter than leading sunscreens, and Clear Face Sunscreen SPF 60 for acne-prone skin.

Neutrogena's Sun product development lead told the outlet the filter makes sunscreens more comfortable and easier to fold into a daily routine.

A mass brand landing this soon after an indie first moves the filter from a formulation option to a shelf-level competitive fact.

And Industry Reaction reads it as genuine catch-up with international standards, with some expecting cheaper follow-ons to arrive fast now that the first slot went to a premium brand at roughly double mass pricing.

I mean, I'm trying to think if there's even, even any drugstore products that use those.

I believe like even like Neutrogena might incorporate some of them.
