Yeah.

And I'd be like, "Whoa." You know, and that's what n- a lot of Neptune City was about.

Like, I was kind of trying to write my way into a story that would make my family less sad.

Mm.

"But it doesn't mean that you need to sound like him.

And then when I was making Neptune City in Sweden, they had, um, what was it? The, uh...

It was an ep- uh, issue of Mojo magazine that was like, "The Making of Born to Run." And I'm reading it, and it's like, oh, yeah, I love Roy Orbison.

uh let me let me just do this real quick jack nickel because i don't think we've done this for sure so 1937 do the math how old would he have been in 1997 Hold on to the number, but don't tell me.

John Joseph Nicholson was born April 22, 1937 in Neptune City, New Jersey, the son of a showgirl, June Frances Nicholson.

Huh.

Nicholson's mother was of Irish-English-German and Welsh descent.

I couldn't pinpoint exactly where he was from.

You know what I mean? I'm just going to read this last paragraph because I thought one of the things was kind of funny and then sweet.

Nicholson grew up in Neptune City, New Jersey.

Before starting high school, his family moved to an apartment in Spring Lake, New Jersey.

He's as good as it gets in New Jersey.

And that's ironic because I've called this place overrated before.

But I've since gone back to Pete and Elda's, as you can tell by my wardrobe.
