And it was a really great experience.

And, you know, being back now and seeing how much Nepean has changed over the decades, it's a really wonderful place to live right now.

I want to talk about a couple of things there.

One, obviously, being on a VIA route is extremely helpful as well.

I had great people around me.

I'm very lucky that I had such an awesome team around me to help guide and, you know, and focus.

But you know, the fact that we came so close to winning Nepean.

I knew that I had to do it again, right? In my whole lifetime, it has been conservative.

Yes, I wanted your guest's comment on Synovus.

Our last question is from Kemi Abdu.

She's in Nepean, Ontario, and she was wondering about books, specifically why the price that's printed on the back of the cover in Canadian dollars is always higher than the U.S. price.

Okay, so time for a trip to my neighborhood bookstore.

I talked to Chloe about what people are buying and if there's a book of the summer.

I think we were going to be able to make, like, two or three games and then the medal round games.

So it was, like, the ones you'd want to make, right? And the games, too, was, like, against Nepean or Nepean.

I don't know what I'm saying.

Yeah, they were the

Those beds are in the Children's Hospital at Westmead, installed back in May, with a further 10 at Nepean installed in July.

And get this, these beds were funded by the previous government and were only delivered during Labor's current term.

Now, it's a lot to unpack and what is happening out at Blacktown is emblematic of the problems that we're seeing across the board.

This looked like a war zone.

And, you know, we've had a government, you know, that has had, what, almost four years now to do something about this.

And I'm hearing similar stories at Nepean, at Westmead.

Something is wrong with our Western Sydney hospitals, particularly the EDs.

Yeah.

I know there's a Nepean one.

Yeah.

There's one in Canada.

Why don't you bring it up, okay? You're one of the big dogs at, uh-

... at, at East Nepean.

Yes.

If they're needing treatment for an allergic reaction, they could go into one of these short-stay spots.

Includes, um, space in St George Hospital, Campbelltown, Nepean, Maitland, John Hunter, Wyong.

Mm-hmm.

That sounds smart.

But surely it's more important to make the right recommendations and to achieve some real change rather than do a rush job.

[upbeat music] Some good news stories about our hospital system.

Michael says, "I've been to Nepean Hospital twice.

I've had a heart stent put in.

That's why the festival's there every year, right? So don't tell me that those two centers out there, in- including Nepean in that too, that they can't hold a Junior A team.

Between the three of them, or have their own each, which they, I know they can, because Kahnawà:ke's got the wherewithal to do it, the backing to do it.
