Neopian

With over a decade of writing experience spanning the likes of video games, books, graphic novels, and digital media, Dean helps shape the world and stories of Neopia that we know and love across multiple platforms.

He started as The Neopian Times editor and content intern back in 2020, and has since helped develop on-site event narratives, including the massive undertaking of directing the most recent The Void Within plot.

Girl, when I wrote massive undertaking, I mean it.

His work also includes narrative contributions to MMORPGs like DreamWorks School of Dragons, as well as original script writing for TV pilots and short films.

Sarah, I'm gonna shut up and let you start with a question, if you're okay with that.

Okay.

Well, I mean, so something I'm really interested about, as Keaton alluded to in your intro, you started off on the site as The Neopian Times and content intern back in 2020.

So how did you originally get into that role? Were you a Neopets player before you started helping out with the site? What was kind of like the timeframe and the, the way that all that unfolded?

But I know that there's some items that I'm going to have to acquire that are stupid expensive.

So I have been hustling recently, trying to save up as much as I can so I can pad that Neopian bank account so I'm ready to get those items when it comes up.

But, um, this color is incredible.

The Faerie color on the Werewolf?

But I was like, "There's only three, and after this month?" Because we were churning them out, like, four every two weeks.

So there's been a little bit of a slowdown, but I won't be upset.

So new avatars for the Neopians to collect.

We have a Kacheek Home Run that came out on September 1st.
