Bloober Team brought their style to the Silent Hill 2 remake.

Neobards and writer Ryukishi07 brought theirs to F.

Screen Burn bringing their analog, slow-burn, puzzle-heavy flavor to the table is in that same spirit.

A franchise that only lets the same voices speak withers on the vine.

So the remake of Silent Hill 2 came from Bloober Team, and that was a really well-done adaptation that, uh, was true to the original, but improved on it in meaningful ways.

Neobard came next with Silent Hill F from last year, and they took the series in a cool new direction by setting it in 1960s, uh, rural Japan.

And now, Scottish developer Screenburn is up with what I think is maybe the most unique take on the series, uh, in a while, Silent Hill: Townfall.

So it tells the story of Simon, a man who wakes up in the seaside town of Saint Amelia with an IV stuck in his arm and no memory of how he got there.
