Also, a mouth-watering tie between Castlehaven and Nemo Rangers on Sunday the 27th in Clonacilty, and the Carberry Divisional side are hoping up against St. Finbar's team that have lost two games in the group stages, including last week at the Mallow Day Clash on Sunday the 27th in the first of that doubleheader in Clonacilty.

So I suppose a lot to get through there in terms of the quarter-finals.

Those are absolutely bow-watering ties.

But overall, I think it's a great system.

And I think last weekend was massively entertaining.

I grew up playing for Nemo Rangers in Cork, but I really felt like I was cheering for Real Betis whenever David Clifford landed one of his 15 points.

My question, can we cheer for GAA clubs other than our own? Newstown again in a strong enough position, they face St. Michael's in Riverstick at 4pm on Sunday and Newstown only a win obviously will get them into the knockout stages and they're in a strong position to do so.

Just to mention the other game of the group as well here in Valley Rovers against Nemo Rangers in Ballyhandley at the same time.

That's a crucial game because if Valley Rovers win that game and Newstown beat St. Michael's then Nemo are out of the championship.

That's incredible to think in a way but you had two crucial games there but from a Newstown perspective you would expect them to beat St. Michael's but at the same time it's effectively a knockout game there as well.

So St. Michael's can't qualify for the knockout stages.

Am I right there? But they're they're they're in that relegation kind of conversation if you look at mellow and earn zero points in in division one and you've not been in colligan zero points in division three and st michael's earned zero points in division two it's the two bottom place teams we went to relegation playoff so that's probably forefront in st michael's mind getting the results that will take them out of the of the relegation kind of conversation But for Newstown, it's all about getting the win that will get them into the knockout stage, because we know they were one of the stories of last year's championship, getting to the semifinal.

Unlucky to lose to Nemo Rangers there.

We know there's talent in this team.

So basically Newstown, if they win, they will be true.

And then if Neymar beat Valleys...

Nemo would have a better scoring difference than Valleys.

So Valleys could go out there after two wins, GCID.
