It is, you know, one of the things that I've read about a lot, like one of the great tragedies of the history of recorded jazz music is that the vast majority of the music that these great bands played Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway's band, Nelson Riddle, like the white bands, not Lawrence Wolk.

I just forgot the other white guy's name.

But the vast majority of the music they played was dance music.
