The video is grainy, barely clear enough to make out the clock on the wall.

But in the Ballard's eyes, Brooks isn't doing enough to try to find her.

They even call Brooks and his family out publicly for refusing to join the search parties.

So that same night, July 5th, Brooks is called in for an interview with Nelson County Sheriff's Detective, John Snow.

Brooks tells the police that he'd spent July 3rd, the day before Crystal went missing, running errands.

Subsequently, Henry Porter gathered up the survivors of the once formidable guerrilla band and surrendered with them at Samuel's Depot, Nelson County, Kentucky, on the 25th of July, 1865.

Among those who surrendered was Frank James.

After the surrender, Frank remained in Kentucky because of a deed which he had performed in Missouri about a year before.

Horse stealing was carried on at a lively rate all along the border.

Kansas, Missouri, and Kentucky were particularly afflicted for many months after the surrender by the presence of these enemies of the farming and stock-raising communities.

Just about the time Frank James was passing through from Nelson County to Brandenburg in Meade County on the Ohio River on his way to Missouri, a number of horses were stolen in LaRue County.

A posse went in pursuit of the thieves.

She now works for a publicly traded $25 billion financial technology company.

She's also a farm girl from Kentucky, a Kentucky FFA alumni from Nelson County, and we're blessed to have her on today.
