There's a piece attributed to Nelson Algren that Jack wrote for him that Nelson signed so that Nelson could fulfill the assignment.

It reminded me of a line, like, in one of those Nelson Algren boxing short stories where a promoter is getting mad at this boxer and telling him, "You know, the problem with you is you can't fight, and the tragedy with you is you won't let anybody else fight." And that's sort of what it's like, what it feels like watching Michael Page, 'cause you're just like, he always seems like he's just about to do something.
