Neil Newbon

Because guess what? Here's the thing.

I decided to listen to the audiobook, which is actually, I think the audiobook also makes it better because it's voiced by Neil Newbon, who is the voice of Asterion in the game.

um so you're hearing and he does great work he makes a star in the lovable scamp that he is um the the your your pansexual uh vampire rogue um that you know he leads with his knife and his dick absolutely um but yeah so uh the the so i'm listening to the audiobook but if you the audiobook is broken up by like if you look at the chapters the chapters on the audiobook it's just it's just random groupings of pages of like of like lines so you look at the chapters here i'll just pull it up um let's see uh audible All right.

So Baldur's Gate, I go to the chapters, and the chapter we're currently on is the 10 years that Astarion spent studying law in Silverymoon were among the happiest in his life.

Famous faces, formative games, and the stories that made them who they are.

On today's episode, we're joined by Neil Newbon to talk character acting, games with friends, and how internet trolls could be just a little more eloquent.

I'm Lauren Carter.

Welcome to Main Character Energy.

It means we get to see some previews of what they're doing with the book.

And Neil Newbon is playing as an Oath of the Ebon Blade Death Knight.

And this is the class and subclass that is featured in the World of Warcraft book.

So whilst watching this actual play, it's kind of giving us a preview.

Yeah, Alliance and Horde, but they're being called the Hero Classes, and they're available to level 3 characters and higher.

So when you play a Hero Class, you need to choose a specific subclass, and that alters the base feature.

So in this example, the Death Knight is the Hero Class, and then the specific subclass that Neil Newbon is playing is Ebon Blade.

airbomb blade those with the airbomb blade that is sorry um if there goes in between it um

The show previewed some of the upcoming subclass mechanics for the World of Warcraft book.

Neil Newbon played an Oath of the Ebon Deathblade Knight.

The Deathblade Knight is a World of Warcraft class that appears to use the Paladin class as a base.

Notably, the Oath of Ebon Blade has two features that replace the core Paladin features.

Chris.

And Neil Newbon, who plays Nikolai and did the PCAP for Nemesis.

Oh, dope.

Oh, my God.
