So in September this year, it will be 10 years since David passed away.

So David's the professor of glaciology.

So Professor David Collins, he would actually call himself Professor Doctor Doctor because he had a PhD and a DSC, which is Doctor of Science, which is pretty cool and a pretty big deal for however many decades ago it was when he got it.

But he was the professor for both me and Rob as we went through our undergraduate.

And what he did was he was quite savvy in the way that he conducted fieldwork is he managed to tie it in with student fieldwork so that he had an annual or several annual trips to Switzerland and to Chamonix and the French Alps.
