This is probably my favorite Trouble album.

Riffs a plenty on here.

Again, Eric Wagner, rest in peace, uh, he was the Robert Plant of doom metal.

He had that kind of same delivery, but it was, again, raspier, darker, and God, man, they had amazing riffs, dude.

that it gets it gets a little bit trickier um i would say paradise lost is probably the next one down honestly in terms of you know consistent discographies i think they have one album that i i don't like the rest of it is killer and they've changed around their sound a bit but When it came down to the big melancholic riffs, it was heavy, it was oppressive and dark, but it still had that romanticized, you know, sort of like darkness to it.

And Nick Holmes, my God, that guy has such a beautiful voice and his growls are just well enunciated.

He sounds evil and sinister and then just crooning the next second.

like uh one of the best actually one of my favorite metal bands period like that band is incredible I had the pleasure of seeing him a couple of years ago uh dude they played all of an album I'll bring up later but that's number two there okay um honestly I gotta go Tribulation.

Tribulation, granted, it doesn't start at the beginning of their discography, because their first album is a death metal gem that I think everyone should jam.

But this evolution into goth metal kind of titans, and they were like heavier, darker, more sinister, but their last album...

Yeah.

Okay.

Um, more nuanced, more technical, but again, they do things with dissonance and counter harmonies that you don't hear a lot of bands do.

Like, and this is another band that I would say, like, they have a sound.

They don't need to change it.

It's, it's theirs.

Like, it's almost like a more refined Morbid Angel and, you know, like, without all the issues that Morbid Angel has had over the years.

Like, they've maintained, like, a core lineup for a good amount of time here, and this album in particular, like, it sounds evil.
