Things get even more packed on October 12th, when NCT Wish, Miaol, and Xdinary Heroes all release new music on the very same day, giving fans a chance to compare a rookie-friendly idol sound, a fresh solo act, and a band-driven rock vibe all at once.

The competition heats up further in the back half of the month, as NMIXX returns on October 19th with their sixth mini album, Strange Muse, while IVE drops a pre-release title track that same day ahead of their full album, Looks Can Kill, on the 26th, directly overlapping with I.L.I.T.' 's comeback with Break Even.

Industry watchers note that with so many groups dropping new material in such a tight window, the real challenge for artists this month won't just be releasing a song, but making sure it stands out and pulls in new listeners amidst such a crowded and competitive release calendar.

The group will drop their fourth mini-album titled I Spy on October 12th at 6 in the evening through major music platforms, promising a brand new musical style with six tracks in total.

The title track, also called I Spy, is a dance pop tune that captures that magical moment when your senses suddenly become hyper-aware of the person you like, with dynamic shifts between sections that build excitement and curiosity around the repeated hook.

Or like, you know, doing everything will mean like... sleeping way less um and i didn't go to that i should look up how long it's open till i think it's probably closed now so i'm pretty sure it was open just the weekend and yesterday i thought of going but then yesterday was my like um relaxed day by myself where i literally slept all day i had the most peaceful sunday it's monday right now um and sunday i was like i'm not doing anything i slept until like to like three i laid in bed for a long time i watched an insane amount of spy documentaries i don't know why but that was the hole i landed on i was like yeah let me watch spy documentaries on youtube um that's what i did all yesterday yeah i don't know there's a lot i'm i have a lot of video ideas that i'm working on um one I want to do of like the NCT photo pop-ups that I'm trying to get done this month but like the other locations I have to go for that are more far away in like the opposite direction of where I normally am so I haven't had the chance to go over there yet but I'm gonna I'm gonna try to get that done soon because I just want to I want to edit the video and post it asap as soon as possible and then another one I'm doing I filmed on Saturday where I hired a local photographer in Seoul to do like street photography and my idea is doing like a bunch of different types of photos you can get done here but that one's going to take me a couple months because it's expensive so each month I'll do like one type of photography so you might see that video in like four months we'll see NCT also had I think like yesterday they had a like like thrift i don't know what the word is for what the word is but um they took like members donated a bunch of their items and then fans could go buy those items yeah like a thrift a swap almost and the proceeds went to some charity but the you have to like pre you have to register for this this is the biggest thing like all of the pop-ups here you have to register for and so the windows are the window of time you can register is really short and it's very competitive um and you have to verify your identity like you do for everything in Korea so like if you're a tourist you you probably can't even go like that's the truth there sometimes there's like um certain pop-ups that are foreigner friendly where it's like supposed to allow people who don't have like an arc or residents here that can like still register for those but the spots are usually even smaller um but this pop-up didn't have that and i was trying to register um but like the they use so many different apps like like literally it would be like oh weverse oh no like the running thing is on a totally different app this pop-up was on a totally different app and then even like the like i don't know everything is on a different random app and every time i have to go and verify but for some reason my number and my arc isn't working anymore and i don't know why because i connected them when i got at them like when you're supposed to connect your alien registration number you're like i you're a sin card your social security number or whatever as a foreigner here you need to connect it to your phone number and you use that to verify your identity for literally everything anytime you're online even if you want just like a point card you have to verify and it stopped working for me and i've been emailing my like phone company and they are not helpful at all and it's really starting to get to me because i'm like i lit you have to use this for everything and you don't just use it once they're like constantly asking you to re-verify and it isn't it isn't working so I can't even sign up for any of this shit which is super awesome and I love this oh and there's also a pop-up for uh NCT Wish and their like highlighter collab for a makeup brand and I really wanted to go to that but then the day I was planning on going my company was like oh actually we're having lunch together so you come in early I'm like damn it now I can't go because it was in the opposite direction and then I needed like two hours to travel but then they wanted me come come in earlier and I was like it doesn't open until like two hours before so the window of time was already short so I didn't get a go to that which I'm sad about but you know whatever like I saved money I guess you know a part of me hoped that coming to Korea would help with my YouTube career but now that I'm doing it I'm like I don't think It's helping at all.

I think my mental state is worsening because of this.

Because of all the fucking pop-ups and my registration never fucking working.

I think this dress is getting to me or like the trying to rebuild a life is starting to hit me where I'm like oh this is like not easy or even just like my my apartment not having anything in it well I bought this I bought the Riku version of um NCT wishes cat wish pop-up because it's so cute.

NCT Wish just wrapped up an incredible two-year anniversary fan meeting tour, closing things out in style in Hong Kong.

The group's Hong Kong stop at Asia World Arena sold out both shows, drawing in about 20,000 fans who came out to celebrate.

Fans were treated to performances of their Japanese single Boy Meets Girl, alongside fan favourites like Wish and Cheat Code, plus some fun surprise covers of Super Junior's You and EXO's Electric Kiss.
