What was your impression of the overall game against Nate?

So offense to me really wasn't this.

You had the one bad drive, obviously, after Navy cut the lead to six to seven, where Carr has the three incompletions and, you know, go three and out.

It was the only real time that Notre Dame's offense was stopped in this game.

USC 30, Ohio State 18, the game we just referenced.

We mentioned that Notre Dame fell behind early against Navy, but ended up coasting in the second half.

Miami 38, North Carolina 35 was the final there as North Carolina punched in a score late, but Miami still held on to win the ball game.

Who wins next week? Let's start with Nikki and Van Nuys.

I say that Notre Dame is going to win the game because Notre Dame, BYU is just such a good team.

And when they beat Notre Dame, it really, I mean, I feel like Notre Dame led a fight under Notre Dame and they're going to win it.

Where was that in the first half then? They were trailing Navy in the second quarter and they were the biggest favorite of anybody in college football.

I just think that they just got to, They just got to wake up a little bit.

After Notre Dame moved up one spot after beating the guys at the Naval Academy and Indiana dropped two after beating the guys that go to the Gopher Academy or the Boat Rowing Academy, which, I mean, basically that would kind of be

Navy in a weird sense.

Now the backfield.

Roger Staubach will be at quarterback in his third year from Navy.

And he has won the job from Craig Morton.

You know, for a while, head coach Tom Landry was using the dual quarterback system, even switching after each play.

Well, another thing that probably influenced me is that I had heard that Morton was very well liked by his Dallas teammates, and perhaps there was some pressure to give him every possible opportunity and keep him in there because he had been around for seven years, and he did sit on the bench behind Meredith, but I think that it's been proved conclusively, at this point anyway, that Roger Staubach is the better quarterback, and Craig Morton should not be starting for the Cowboys.

And besides that, he's a Navy man, and I'm a Navy man.
