It is really hard.

Um, we did do a great episode with Navar from Navexa, which covered a lot of these topics that you should go check out in, in a great amount of detail.

But yeah, it gets to the, the point of, like, if I buy one unit of VAS in January, one in February, one in March, one in April, and then I go to sell one of these in June, which...

What am I selling? Because they are four different ETFs with four different purchase prices, which means they have four different tax bases, which means the particular one you choose to sell has different tax effects.

You just basically get to decide which of those shares you've sold, and the only way you can do that is by keeping good records of all your transactions, and then matching those with the shares that you've decided to sell.

And so you can do that, uh, for free by yourself by keeping a record of all of your transactions, and then saying you sold 50 units here, and you're, that kind of matches the corresponding buy purchases from, you know, two, three years ago, whatever it might be.

Um, or you can use a tool like, uh, Sharesight or Navexa or something like that, which is gonna keep track of all of those by themselves, uh, those, those buy transactions, and then later your sell transactions, which obviously that can connect to your Pearler account and make it pretty simple to do.

But in terms of specifically the actual parcels, and nice use of the word or the, the phrasing tranche there, Hayden.
