National Scenic Byway

And today there have been many groups over the years that have come around to kind of just preserve the history of Route 66.

Route 66 is also a National Scenic Byway.

I think also just kind of reflecting on Route 66, I think it just kind of brings back so much nostalgia.

I think both for people in the U.S. and outside the U.S., it kind of represents the great American road trip.

And another one is Wisconsin's western border.

Fall colors pop on the Wisconsin Great River Road, the All-American Road.

It winds for 250 miles along Wisconsin's west coast, and it's just charming riverside communities, lots of scenic overlooks, a perfect destination for fall.
