It's really amazing what an impact Richie had in only eight months of his musical career before he died.

Definitely, it's a balance, but what about the legacy Wonder leaves behind? It's so influential.

For sure, his induction into the National Recording Registry proves that he's a cornerstone of music history.

And it's fascinating to think how many artists cite him as an influence.

It's like a ripple effect.

What's the legacy of Amazing Grace today? It stands as the definitive gospel recording of the modern era, and the standard every live gospel album is measured against.

It's her bestseller, it's in the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress, and there's a beautiful footnote to it also.

A documentary film was shot during those two nights by director Sidney Pollack, but a technical problem syncing the picture to the sound left it unusable, and the footage sat in a vault for decades.
