And so this becomes kind of a catch-all for the disgruntled, people that don't like that.

Now, you'll also find in the interview with Andrew Thompson, who is a member of the DSA's national political committee, you know, he's disgruntled about, about having to work his whole life.

And [laughs] I mean, it sounds crazy, but, you know, I'll, I'll read you the quote.

He says, "I've been working since I was a child, and I don't really want that future for anyone else." So they're preaching this socialist utopia, that if you just give us all your freedom and create this new society and new government, like somehow you won't have to work hard, or you won't have to labor [laughs] for what you have.

And you can hear rumblings of that in New York city with CEO Weaver and how, you know, private property is a construct of a white supremacy.

I mean, just the most insane concepts and the, You know, this is someone who is the co-chair of the DSA, the National Political Committee.

So all major decisions of the DSA go through her.

And she throws this curveball at you about real democracy when the DSA actually uses what they call the in and out strategy, which is where they have people in office, electeds who push policy and then out being the activists on the grounds who put political pressure on So they know that normal people can go to a city council hearing, which DSA does, and, you know, complain about a new detention center in a community and have Democratic... democratic participation and stopping something like that.

I voted on that statement.

I was a member of the National Political Committee.

Tell me about your rationale.

Most DSA members, I think, certainly in swing states, voted for Kamala Harris, I believe.

So, yeah, we need to we need to look at what we need to pay for in the interim.

What what sort of tax base we need for that to happen and then and build from there.

Is support of Israel in any form essentially a red card in DSA? As I understand it, in 2024, DSA's National Political Committee withdrew its endorsement of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over her support for a House resolution stating that denying Israel's right to exist is a form of anti-Semitism.

Her local chapter stuck with her.
