And then the forestall building itself, as David mentioned, would allow if you took that down, it would allow for five new blocks of city development across the street from the National Mall.

This is unprecedented in the history of Washington, D.C., where For the first time in decades, we are going to have a mixed-use neighborhood across from the National Mall, which would be so exciting.

The rest of the National Mall has federal office space that's going to remain.

You have the Federal Triangle, Department of State.

But here in Southwest, where you have so much exciting activity happening at the wharf and on the waterfront, which is only a quarter of a mile down L'Enfant Promenade from the Smithsonian Castle, Right now, it is such a terrible place to walk.

They were on the National Mall.

They were in in Anacostia Flats, and they stayed there present, just simply demanding that their Congress, that their country fulfill those promises.

Now, one of the things that that a lot of people don't know about this bonus army is that it was actually dispersed by the United States military.

People should not feel hopeless about the state of our democracy, right? That is what the fascists want.

They want to crush our hope.

We believe that if we get tens of thousands of veterans on the National Mall, backed by many more tens of thousands of civilians, and that when we march in Washington, D.C., demanding that our upcoming elections, that the results, the true results are honored, We think that politicians, even the MAGA ones, are going to recognize, okay, these people are organized.

There really is power behind this movement, and we need to do the right thing.
