And there are lots of community projects, including with housing associations, going on who are offering routes into learning about the skills that are needed.

Listed by Historic England as Cemetery Chapel, the building fell into disuse in the 1960s and more recently was restored thanks to a £1.4 million in grants from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.

Jenny Root, manager at the HCT, explained that Paxton designed the Crystal Palace for the Great Exhibition of 1851 and was commissioned to design a new cemetery by Coventry City Council.

Both the Anglican Chapel and the Nonconformist Chapel were part of that design.

The Addiction Recovery Centre in Kirkintilloch has been awarded £16,800 by the National Lottery Community Fund.

The money will keep its services running for the next year and they will continue to be offered free of charge.

The centre has supported people affected by alcohol, drug and gambling addiction.

Peter Verechia from the Addiction Recovery Centre is delighted that both Seamus and the centre have been recognised.

He said, we're extremely grateful for this £16,800 award.
