Gary DickmanHOST
I want to see Stanford.
Gary DickmanHOST
But as I talked with Coach Mitchell and I read, I think, in your column a couple of days ago, Columbia won the tournament, the WBIT or the WNIT last year.
Gary DickmanHOST
So there might be some schools that we're not aware of right now in the men's slate that might be good, but on paper they don't look like very attractive names
Billy HullHOST
yet.
Khalilah MitchellGUEST
I mean, San Diego State was number one in our conference last year, right? Columbia, I think it won.
Khalilah MitchellGUEST
Was it WNIT, WBIT? So, I mean, we have competitive, competitive teams coming up.
Khalilah MitchellGUEST
And that's the beauty of it.
Khalilah MitchellGUEST
Our girls want to compete and play at the highest level.
Marty McGillanGUEST
And it was something I looked into the women's coach there, Marlene Stallings.
Marty McGillanGUEST
Marlene had been at Winthrop for a year and took them to WNIT and stuff.

Marty McGillanGUEST

George TempletonHOST
What was that season like, knowing that you didn't have an NCAA tournament and even an ASUN tournament to play in at the end of the year?
Chelsea BanburyGUEST
So he still sold the post season, right? We still, the WNIT was still a possibility for us.
Chelsea BanburyGUEST
And that's kind of what we work towards.
Chelsea BanburyGUEST
Right.
Brad BoboHOST
I, so I mean, uh, I thought that was neat 'cause there was a day obviously that wouldn't have happened.
Brad BoboHOST
Go back to 2005 and Susie Gardner brought her team in here in the WNIT and she said, "Why would I think that's good for the state?" So [laughs] ...
Brad BoboHOST
So
Matt StoltzHOST
[laughs] Hey, real quick, wanna mention a couple of other things before we get outta here.
