So the judgment does not create a universal list on what should be an authoritative source and what shouldn't be, but it clearly states what it trusted in this particular case to arrive at this conclusion, you know.

So the High Court basically contrasted the unauthenticated downloaded material with GCERT and NCERT textbooks and other material published by government authorities.

And it had criticized the respondents from relying on material, which was, you know, a book downloaded on internet and, you know, having a questionable authenticity and completely ignoring the authenticated textbooks that were actually published by government authorities.

And the court also said that the examining body was expected to ask questions from books or materials that are usually available in that particular region.

The GPSC had no written policy to authenticate such a downloaded material.

They did not even have the physical copy of that PDF available with either the commission or with the paper setter, and therefore it made it even more debatable.

Also, the petitioner's lawyers were very strong in their submission that the Gujarat, I mean, GCERT and NCERT material supported the petitioner's interpretation of what is Arthashastra.

So the court, you know, basically held that if any question is based on unauthenticated material, then the benefit must go to the student and not to the examining body.

Why don't we have a module designed for practice questions? Why, why there's just NCERT? Why there's not a practice question? We have NCERT, we have exemplar.

Exemplar have 25 questions and NCERT have 25 questions, just like 50 questions.

50 questions are not enough for any chapter.

So why don't we have a practice question sheet or something provided by the, uh, NTA or NCERT? We don't have any mock test series which can be conducted in a month basis, on two-month basis, online basis, and it's very easy to conduct also.

W- we do not have a well-described syllabus as well.

The syllabus have... still have those errors which were 10 years back.
