National Cherry Festival

took these recipes on the road, right? We did.

To bring them to life, we traveled everywhere from the CMA Fest in Nashville to the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Michigan, and just this past weekend at the Oyster Fair in Connecticut.

A lot of the people we met on the road this summer talked about the memories that a classic Hershey's s'more can evoke.

Whether they're enjoying s'mores at the beach or in their own backyard, they described those shared moments of joy around the campfire as their happy place.

Cut those down.

The cherry trees that had been given to the American government in 1912 by the Japanese government as part of the Cherry Festival.

Chopped down.

Why? Because he wants to build some fucked up golf course in the middle of D.C.

Now in the shadow of the Capitol Dome in Lansing, he's heard from the beaches of Lake Michigan to the halls of power and behind closed doors, here's Michigan's Michael Patrick Shields.

Whether we're enjoying tulip time in Holland or the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, exploring pristine beaches of Saugatuck and Grand Haven, hiking through Ludington State Park or skiing the slopes of Crystal Mountain, the sunset in Frankfort, the wineries in Berrien County, climbing to the top of Sleeping Bear Dunes, we know that Michigan has something to offer no one else in the world does.

Good morning, world.

For up north, northern Michigan, it's the largest city up here.

And every year they have their main festival is called the Cherry Festival.

And

everybody from downstate comes up over the 4th of July for the Cherry Festival.

So there will be just thousands and thousands of people, this one little area on the Bay of Traverse City at the Cherry Festival.

And every year they have an air show.

Either the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds will headline the show.

That mile-long row of rocks is directed to a northerly direction, and it points directly towards Beaver Island, where there happens to be another ancient stone circle on the island.
