National Bison Day

November sixth is National Nacho Day.

November seventh, National Bison Day.

November eighth, Hindu Diwali Day.

All right? So there's five calendar niches that are under the radar, more or less.

However, having pressed both of those offices a little bit, they are going to include bison as an eligible species potentially for that too.

So it's sticking around, I believe, 20 million acres to convert potentially into, again, low performing cropland into pasture land, which of course we need producers out there and our producers need access to ground and grass which this would provide so we we are supporting that one national bison day resolution was also discussed and supported by our group that is an annual resolution that needs to be passed by this Senate to celebrate National Bison Day on the first Saturday of November.

That's going to be on November 7th this year.

This week, I just got an email yesterday, actually, from Senator Hoeven's office, who is going to be our usual sponsor on that one.

That's an easy one.

We're not asking for any money on that.

Simply an observance of National Bison Day.

So, yeah, we were busy and had plenty to talk about with Congress there, and everybody did a wonderful job in representing the bison industry.
