Alright, so the NAFDAC is warning the public to avoid

all unlicensed and unregistered alcoholic or herbal drinks as further toxicology

Locally produced alcoholic drinks are widely consumed in Nigeria, particularly in rural communities where they are often cheaper than commercially manufactured beverages.

The incident comes as Nigeria's National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control enforces a nationwide ban on alcoholic beverages packaged in sachets and small plastic containers.

The agency has said such products are easily accessible to children and young people.
