And so, Nathan, could you just explain, like when you walk out into the barn now, what does that look like? Like how do you have pens set up? How do you do your groupings here?
11:26
So, yeah, we have eight different pens.
11:27
So that barn used to house dry cows.
11:30
And after the fire, we took that summer to put up a dry cow barn and make the main long barn all milking.
11:39
So eight pens of milking cows.
11:41
One pen is fresh cows.
11:45
They go in there right out of the maternity pen.
14:02
And so, Nathan, can you talk a little bit about that for a moment? What are some of the tools that you're using and the ways that you're integrating data into your real time decision making here?
10:17
So how did you ever end up as a herd manager? Take us back a little bit.
10:22
It's a wild story.
10:24
So yeah, I grew up southwest Minnesota.
10:27
I think when I was growing up, there was two dairies in the whole county down there.
10:31
So I grew up with beef cattle and swine and some sheep.
10:35
And I've loved agriculture as a kid.
10:41
Was around it all the time.

Yeah.
