Then you've got a player like Nate Hobbs.

They don't have Nate Hobbs on IR to bring Nate Hobbs back.

Nate Hobbs is like breaking case of emergency internal depth.

All their cornerbacks get hurt in the same game and they just, they like him.

So they want him around.

But that would mean that the only players that are good on this team are the players that the GM went out and signed, right? In free agency, they were already established.

The problem with that is he signed Nate Hobbs to a big contract extension.

He lasted one year and his ass was gone, right? So that didn't pan out.

Aaron Banks is arguably the worst player

So four players now already off the list.

Nate Hobbs, I don't think he'll be brought back.

He's kind of in the Nick Martin category of players that could be in case someone else goes down.

But while you have Lenore, Green, Stout, Prysock, and Jack Jones healthy, there's no reason to bring him back.

Then you add in James Thompson Jr.

And I understand Robinson kind of counts as the in-between guy.

If you don't count Robinson and Bosa doesn't have to go on IR, now that it's Thompson Jr. and you're willing to ride this thing out, the Niners are already used up if they bring back Kirk, Pleasance, Martin, Sammo, Nate Hobbs, Stribling.

Six of their returns.

But yeah, here's the list.

It is Alfred Collins, Andrew Farmer, Derek Forrest, Nate Hobbs, Mikhail Kamara, Nick Martin, uh, Sam Aquino, CJ West on defense right now.

So that's eight.

And then you have Kirk, Pearsall, Pleasant, Stripling, Tongis, Toth, and Zakel on offense.

You look at the list, CJ West, Nate Hobbs, Shribling, Okuanu, and Kirk, Right there alone, that's five guys that like they're bringing back or will intend to bring back.

And who do they add? I think it was like Zaire Franklin, Javon Hargrave, and then Brandon Cisse in the draft, who got beat like a drum last night.

And then the other part is I really felt like their defense on paper did not look good.

But I mean, look at the amount of starters and key players that they lost.

Like Romeo Dubs, Dontavian Wicks, Rasheed Walker, Elton Jenkins, Rashawn Gary, Kingsley Enigbari, Quay Walker, Nate Hobbs.

The list goes on and on.

And who do they add? I think it was like Zaire Franklin, Javon Hargrave, and then Brandon Cisse in the draft, who got beat like a drum last night.

Nate Hobbs, Sam Ogunyane, De'Jon Scribbling, and C.J. West.

And the problem is, like, Scribbling's not a guy that would come back until late in the season, probably the final six, seven games.
