Nate Heinold

So we're going to see that twice.

So I'm curious if Lynchburg is going to pull the same kind of thing that Nate Heinold pulled when we went to Ledgestone, Peoria twice in a year.

which I didn't like.

Why are you throwing it so

close? Well, I just knew we had, um, I mean, Nate Heinold's the best and he brought in a lot of really nimble athletic fans who I knew were going to be able to get out of the way.

If, if things got dicey and, uh, my drive in the playoff on 18 was, uh, very close to many heads.

Um, but I knew it was going to be inbounds if it didn't hit anybody, which I didn't know if it would hit anybody and it didn't.

And they have been, in fact, wild in where they're all coming from.

And I understand somebody... being frustrated with the call.

I understand, you know, people are upset with, with, uh, whether it's, uh, the Marshall and Phil or marshalling in general, uh, or, or with the, you know, the, everything from the PDJ to the ledgestone team, to the rules themselves, to somehow Nate Heinold is wrong.

Right.

And I'm sure he knows that he does that and it's kind of a meme at this point.

But he made a video, I guess the gist of it was kind of like the players aren't allowed to vend at Worlds on site because Metro Parks, where they held Worlds, according to Nate Heinold, required that you showed proper licensing requirements.

To be able to, therefore, like if you're not taking taxes out like these players don't do, it's not legitimate.

So that's kind of like some red tape they had to get through.

If I was there and I was needing gas money to get to the next event, I would be slinging something out of something.

You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah.

This kind of, this is more of a philosophical conversation though, unless you know, 100% the, the dealings with business and how Nate Heinold handles his business and whatnot.

If you're more intelligent than we are about it, it's kind of a philosophical conversation of like, at what point do we have to start thinking of it as a hard pill to swallow that these, uh, these touring pros are getting hurt by this, uh, these rule change or these rulings, because it's like the trade-off of disc golf being on a bigger stage and being legitimate and being recognized as an actual sport.

This is going to eat people alive.

It's kind of a classic Nate Heinold, really tough par five.

which i mean i don't hate i'm not a huge fan of it but i don't really hate it either but it's just a kind of a diabolical hole and wouldn't be surprised if there's some backups on this hole
