At Nashville Ballet, we believe in the transformative power of art.

I staged my first Balanchine Ballet.

It was Allegro Brillant at Nashville Ballet.

The way that that happened was that the director and the ballet mistress And I became close with them when I was staging Year of the Rabbit in 2023.

And back then they both asked me, oh, do you stage Balanchine? I said, no, but I would love to, of course.

And then I showed up, I left on Sunday in Vail after my talk with the pianists.

And then I flew to Nashville and then I started on Monday.

And the Nashville Ballet is a wonderful company.

They had very little turnover since I had been there in 2023, which I think is a great indicator.

I am Brianna Richardson and today we are kicking off the 41st season Inside live in Studio A with company artists and choreographers Maya Montgomery, Garrett McCabe, and Annalise Guerin.
