D MoneyHOST
He's committed, he's committed to Ohio State, but a guy we really, I've always loved and really continue to love.
D MoneyHOST
And, uh, Nash Johnson, Auburn commit from, from Georgia, Powder Springs, having a really, really good senior year.
D MoneyHOST
Those are two guys.
D MoneyHOST
You know, there's tight ends we're looking at.
Ben WolkHOST
And like I've said, because recruiting calendar keeps moving up, up, up, the focus that you need to put and the attention that you need to put on future classes at this stage in the game is so much greater than it, than it used to be.
Ben WolkHOST
So, um, but I did wanna call out, other than Elias Mayo, there was one other official visitor on campus last weekend, and that was Nash Johnson.
Ben WolkHOST
He's a cornerback committed to Auburn, coincidentally.
Ben WolkHOST
Maybe not coincidentally.
Ben WolkHOST
He plays a high school teammate of Casey Barner, and those two are certainly close.
Ben WolkHOST
They play in the same secondary there at McEachern.
Ben WolkHOST
But Nash Johnson had been scheduled at one point to take an official visit to Georgia in June.
Ben WolkHOST
He didn't end up taking that official visit.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Let me give you a couple headlines.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Number one, the other official visitor was Auburn commitment Nash Johnson.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Uh, Brandon, Nash Johnson is currently committed to Auburn, but the Dawgs have given him a lot to think about.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Uh, he said he's opening up the possibility that he might come back to Georgia for multiple visits the rest of the year.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Georgia's recruiting him hard, and he really likes the opportunity he has there at Georgia.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Three-star corner out of McEachern, Brandon.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Most folks might not know the name, but I can just tell you this, there's, I think, nine Power Four or, uh, FBS-level, uh, either offered or committed guys on McEachern's defense.
Jeff SentellGUEST
Nash Johnson is the fastest member of the McEachern defense, and that also-
Ben WolkHOST
He is certainly that, you know, I think that, Georgia will still try and bring in other corners in this class.
Ben WolkHOST
I don't know whether it will be try to be Auburn commit Nash Johnson, who was also on an official visit this weekend, or whether it is a whole host of other guys that they're still evaluating at that position.
Ben WolkHOST
But I think it brings them a little bit of comfort to get Elias Williams into the class already.
Ben WolkHOST
I will also add coming out of Juco Elias now with the five for five rule, Elias Williams has three years of eligibility remaining.
