And oil was down about 4% today, which helps.

So when you have a day like today where the NASDAQ 100 Futures is up almost 900 points or almost 1,000 points.

900 points, let's put it that way.

It's a ginormous move.

S&P Future, we're having a, uh, the, uh, we have the futures with a big rally today after they sold off after the Fed raised interest rates a quarter point.

S&P Futures up 64, Nasdaq Futures up 321.

Just the headlines on our very busy president, uh, hopefully nearing end of the, uh, war.

Anybody else in the world thinks it's getting bigger, but he thinks it's going down.

The Russell and Dow futures are all both up about six basis points.

Nasdaq futures are outperforming modestly, up about one hundred and fifteen points or forty basis points.

In Europe, the major indices are up about twenty to thirty basis points.

You're seeing outperformance in basic resources, semiconductors, banks, healthcare, energy, and utilities.

This is what's happened.

SoftBank is down fifteen percent, NVIDIA's down three percent, CoreWeave down nine percent, Oracle down five, Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet all lower, Nasdaq Futures down one and a half to two percent.

These c-- Not only OpenAI, NVIDIA, and Anthropic are really fragile right now.

The entire economy is really fragile because Trump has made a giant bet on AI, which is responsible for ninety percent of the CapEx increase, seventy-two percent of the earnings growth, a ridiculous amount of the GDP growth.

The Dow rose about 1% to 52,573.29.

The Nasdaq added approximately 1% to 26,333.04, and the Russell 2000 gained about four-tenths of 1%.

That Friday bounce did not erase the week.

The S&P finished the holiday-shortened week down roughly 0.8%, the Dow lost 1.6%, the NASDAQ lost 0.7% and small caps fell 2.4%.
