It was a massive emergency response.

21 crews called to this factory on Potassium Street in Narangba just after 5:00 yesterday afternoon.

Firies arrived within minutes, confronted by thick smoke pouring from the building and multiple vessels inside engulfed in flames.

But the biggest concern was what else could be lurking inside, with fears of potentially dangerous chemicals.

Firefighters here within minutes.

They were confronted by smoke pouring out of this factory on Potassium Street, Narangba, uh, last night, and there were a number of vessels inside which were fully engulfed.

But the real fear lay around the unknown chemicals potentially lurking inside, so police quickly moving to evacuate neighboring businesses, as well as shutting down two streets around this site.

Firies actually had to force their way in through a roller door.

Where do I start? Okay, so we were living on the sunny coast.

So then Thursday I did a little run walk.

I went down to the Narangba Rugby League fields again, Zach, but I didn't run on them because there were two kids there who were smashing golf balls across the field and then riding out on their little e-scooters, picking them up and bringing them back.

I didn't want to get stuck in the middle of that.
