And I was like, oh, I'll Uber to CVS.

I'll go get some Aleve, right?

Yeah.

And I'm like, wait a minute.

and have them bring it to you.

And they just brought me

the Aleve.

It was beautiful.

That seemed to help people with the symptoms quite a bit.

Anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen or Aleve or the prescription anti-inflammatories will definitely give relief of the acute symptoms, but they don't treat the underlying root cause.

Steroids in the same vein by mouth will treat the symptoms, but not the underlying root cause.

But then also you can have a steroid injection around the plantar fasciitis.

Also, keeping your insulin level chronically elevated because you're eating too many carbohydrates from eating the sugars and eating the grains you're gonna decrease the amount of growth and healing factors that your body naturally secretes.

And you're also, if you're eating a high carbohydrate diet, maybe a plant-based diet, maybe avoiding meat and eggs because you think they're unhealthy, then you're just not eating the building blocks for collagen and the other connective tissues that go into making up a very strong, robust plantar fascia.

So if you're suffering from recurrent bouts of plantar fasciitis or chronic plantar fasciitis, please do not take anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen, Aleve, Meloxicam, Celecoxid.

Don't take these long-term.

Thankfully, I had some prescription-strength anti-inflammatories and three rest days to knock it on the head.

[news music continues] With a trolley load of Naproxen now doing its magic, I now had to turn my gaze to gear.

And no, I'm not talking about that sort of gear.

I'm talking about running gear.

So in arthritis pain, the traditional way we've used it to block the inflammation is non-steroidal anti-inflammatories.

Naproxen, even, you know, we see Advil, things like that.

We used to have some called Vioxx, but it was just now not used anymore.

Some people need steroids if it's really, really bad, but steroids come with side effects.

Any of the cyclooxygenase 2 inhibitors like Celebrex or Celecoxib, and this is called different names in different countries, That can cause hypertension in some people, and that's a secondary cause.

Any of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, ibuprofen, naproxen, Aleve, ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Ketorolac, Toradol, any of the anti-inflammatories, that you might take for a headache.

Many of these medicines are over the counter.

Also, there's a large list of them that are prescription, depending on which country you live in.

Some people like it and swear by it.

And then taking an anti-inflammatory like Aleve, Motrin, Naproxen for a few days just to knock the edge off the pain and the pressure.

That might give you some symptom relief, but in no way is anything in the sinus aisle at the pharmacy going to make your sinus infection go away quicker or make it get better quicker.

That's just not going to happen.
