Well, when I was a nurse, I, uh, collaborated on a textbook, uh, Advanced Concepts in Clinical Nursing, which was published in 1974.

And many of the hospitals in Philadelphia, uh, because the collaborators were from University of Pennsylvania, adopted all of the protocols that we had for better patient outcomes, and, um, many other hospitals throughout the United States also adopted them.

It was a very successful book, um, very well-recognized.

But the hospital that I was working at in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the emergency room, did not adopt those protocols.

So I went to the administrator and I asked, "Why aren't you adopting the protocols that all of these other hospitals, Pal- Penn, Temple, Hahnemann, they're all adopting them.
