agree and even like outside of those deaths being satisfying the ones where like for instance hyunji and kangmyung when they got turned it was heart-wrenching you know so they did a good job of being like this guy got his comeuppance and we're gonna cry about these characters because they also unfortunately got bitten type thing yeah so i think they did a good job of making you feel for the characters which we mentioned this before i really wish i had a chance to watch let sleeping corpses lie but apparently entire chunks of the movie were just like frame for frame lifted from that so i do wonder how well the original movie did in that case

yeah Well, Namuwiki's does mention that the ending is different.

So in the original, it says that they framed the protagonist for all the murders.

But in the original, the protagonist becomes a zombie and he bites those cops to death.

and their military regime that oppressed Korean democracy at the time would have been a plausible trigger for the Dadaist approach.

Unfortunately, this film was also subject to censorship of the regime, and its plot was slightly revised before official release.

Because this theory about Dadaism and the inclusion of this scene is limited to a single sentence in the Namuwiki page, I would try to find more sources about the movie in general, as well as posts about Dadaism and its history in art, but I didn't really come up with much.

And it just leaves me wondering if the director intended to include more scenes regarding the environmental conservation theme, Maybe he added a scene symbolizing governmental oppression before it got removed from the script.
