Back in June, the two sides inked a US-sponsored agreement that would lead to a gradual Israeli pullout and the placing of Lebanese boots on the ground in those areas left vacant by Israeli forces.

While the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah has ceased since the framework agreement was signed in June between Israel and Lebanon, now in southern Lebanon, we can't call the situation a ceasefire.

Israeli strikes have not stopped.

The bilateral talks are now completely dependent in reliance after October.

This is why the talks, the bilateral talks, have been postponed.
