we should see hopefully both of them raising some hardware this year on the on the in the natatorium the men and the women um obviously the the men are defending national champions so they've got um a big target on their back but you know the women is is a little bit more competitive stanford virginia all of that they've got their kind of thing going but um hopefully texas can crack that or at least you know stay in that top three

If you're a Directors' Cup fan, they are one point behind Stanford in the preseason polls.

I think it was like 232 to 233, so it is very close.

Which of those is vying to be runner-up to Virginia, though? Someone will knock them off their perch, and I'd love it to be us.

There's also a lot of rumors and speculation the last couple years that Michael Alford was interviewing for other jobs and looking for other jobs and unfortunately wasn't really getting the, the bites and the numbers because, again, the athletic department not exactly in a good place and high rep right now for Florida State.

If you recall, we did a, we did a topic back late spring, early summer, that the, uh, you know, the Directors Cup standings, that the athletic director standings at Florida State routinely was usually a top 10, a top 15, even like a top 20 at its worst type program, uh, school, had dropped into the, the 40s.

Had dropped into the 40s and just was not looking, uh, very good and very healthy.

So that's, that's the way she goes, uh, in a lot of ways.
