Mythic Quest

I like Mythic Quest.

On the lighter side, if we're sticking with Apple TV, just thinking here, a couple of shows that my wife and I have very, very much enjoyed.

We really like Mythic Quest.

really really like mythic quest uh rob macklehenny um you know it is kind of the showrunner of that from always sunny fame a lot of always sunny people in it very heartfelt um show about running a video game like that's what it is running it running an mmo video game but incredibly heartfelt like really really good show cried multiple times throughout this this very silly comedy as a part of that and then kind of conversely uh schmigadoon is one of one of my favorites i like musicals that is a thing that i don't know that very many people know about me i very much like musicals and schmigadoon only got two seasons as a run there it was kiko michael key and cecily strong were the two leads with it But like, there's all kinds of people that you're going to recognize in it, but it is musicals.

The first season is kind of like a more like old school musical, like Oklahoma or something like that.

You kind of pulling from that ilk, but they get stuck in a musical as a part of it.

Yeah, it was so good.

I think he's really funny for what he did on Community and also what he did on Mythic Quest.

If you haven't seen Mythic Quest...

Love Mythic Quest.

I'm a huge Mythic Quest fan.

He's so good.

Like, everybody on that show is just the best.

I just don't get a lot of range in the voice character being that different.

It's just not based on a video game, but it is about making video games.

Mythic Quest? Is that the one? Yeah.

I fucking love that show.

I think that show's great.

Now, granted, is there a big gulf between his character on Always Sunny and his character on Mythic Quest? No, but I think they play to his strengths so that it becomes its own thing using what he's good at.

And I think...

In my opinion, he's pretty strong comedically, and I feel like he can do good stuff.

Derek and I are a little more slow and serene than Fast and Furious.

A prolific actor and comedian, you may know Derek from the show Mythic Quest and its spinoff series Side Quest.

Derek is also a writer, director, and the creator and host of the Comedy Central series, Drunk History, a show I myself appeared on as an inebriated narrator.

And I couldn't have gotten through my drunken historical tales without Derek as my designated driver.

My actor at Matt Rushmore, Aloy, Tiny Tina, Chloe.

And then I would probably say Rachel from Mythic Quest because I think that's what taught me how to be on camera and on a set and that show is very special to me.

So that's probably my acting hour.

With that show, is it kind of a bittersweet how it ended? I mean, because you got to direct the ending.

It's crazy.

I think I, because it intersected with the very beginning of mocap for Horizon 2, I remember.

So, yeah, it's been a long, yeah, I feel like I kind of grew up on Mythic Quest, sort of.

It was, it was sad.
