Mysidia

So, uh, how to...

You can see in your head where's Mysidia compared to Mount Ordeals.

Oh, I have to go, uh, east, south, and then east some more.

But because you don't have to travel between Mysidia and, say, Baron, it's a lot harder to see in your head how those two places are connected.

I think FF I just has a really amazing world map.

I find that idea really difficult to argue with.

That's pretty good.

I liked it.

So Cecil has just returned from Menard deals and is now the Paladin.

We head back to Mysidia, and we're like, "Hey, look at us now.

We're good, we're all good and stuff." And the leader's like, "Oh, you're all good and stuff.

Here's the, uh, Serpent Trench," or whatever.

He's like, "Yeah, well-"

Like, "Oh, well." [laughs]

Well, we say something like, "Yeah, that's the Mysidians t- told, told us about." He's like, "What? Mysidia's real?" It's like, "I thought that was just a legend."

[laughs] Yeah.

And by elder, is this Porom or Prevor?

No, the Mycid- the elder of Mysidia who was in the original Final Fantasy IV.

Okay.

Yes.

It caught me by surprise.

Really? Okay.

Because the first spot where I heard it, um, Palom has this thing w- in the beginning where he's being, uh, sailed toward Troia from Mysidia, and even though the voyage is supposed to take a week, it ends up taking a month because of bad sailing situations.

And he gives the captain of the ship a lot of hell over it, and he's a very lordly type, so he makes the entire crew nervous.

Like Ricard Highwind and Cid Highwind.

[laughs] Um, so they, they stop by the nearest town, Mysidia, and m- God bless Mysidia.

They're-

When you crash-land, you just end up near Mysidia, huh? [laughs]

Yeah.

Yeah.

It's IV, IV starts with, uh, in Mysidia with the, uh, Water Crystal, I think.

Okay.

Uh, but V, is V the Earth Crystal?
