75-year-old Malcolm Poitier was sentenced to jail time for strangling a fellow theatergoer at a 2023 performance of Queen jukebox musical We Will Rock You in London's West End.

The sentence was handed down, according to MyLondon, by Southwark Crown Court Judge Daphna Spiro today, September 10th.

According to prosecutors, the victim, Kirstie O'Donnell, was apparently singing along during the performance with a friend, leading to Loveridge asking them to, quote, shut the fuck up.

It shows he in fact raised 6,285 pounds thanks to donations by 217 supporters.

Middle East Eye also notes on a story which appeared in MyLondon at the time, headlined "Teacher preps himself to run 30 marathons in 35 days," it said he's taking on the challenge of a lifetime by attempting to complete 30 marathons in 35 days between the 19th of July and 22nd of August.
