My Two Dads

So this was slightly different, but...

Early on, it was way back like when I was on My Two Dads, so I was pretty young.

This photographer wanted to do a photo shoot for like Teen Beat or one of those teeny bopper magazines.

And he brought, he came, and so it was set up that it was going to be at our house.

You know, 13.

Okay.

You know, early days of my two dads.

And he came over and he brought this guy with him.

Justin Hayward from the Moody Blues is 80.

Greg Evigan, My Two Dads, B.J. and the Bear, 73.

Thomas Dolby turned 68 years old.

Ah, Blinded Me With Science.

Greg Evigan turns 73 today.

Do you know him best as [laughs] BJ and the Bear or My Two Dads? This is an age test.

Are you ready? Greg Evigan is 73.

Do you remember him as the bearded dad in My Two Dads or from BJ and the Bear?

My Two Dads.

Same here.

I've-- BJ and the Bear is a little before, little before my time.

Was that Roseanne?

No, my first staff job was on a show called, uh, My Two Dads-

Oh, My Two Dads

... with Paul Reiser.

Right.

And just a, a terrific guy.

So when does Roseanne come in?

The show My Two Dads eventually, uh, it, it, amazingly enough, ran for, like, f- four seasons, and when it came to an end, uh, I was looking at unemployment, which is horrifying.

And it's, although he's very friendly in this, this, this, uh, Centerpoint station bit, and he seems, like, really quite genuine.

And we were talking before about how, um, he was, uh, as an actor we'd been lulled into a false sense of security because of things like My Two Dads and everything where he's-

Well, I said that's the genius of casting Paul Reiser is 'cause he was, like, television's Mr.

Nice Guy.

Yeah.

With My Two Dads, with his stand-up.

Obviously he went on and did Mad About You as well.

Beverly Hills Cop, he's, like, you know, Axel Foley's put-upon colleague.

Like you just, you look at them, you say, "That guy's face." He, he was scary looking.

I guess Mike Ditka, put him in the same category as Dick Butkus, although Dick Butkus kinda had more of a kind face Like Dick Butkus, he was on My Two Dads.

Uh, he was, you know, he got into ac- a- Alex Karras was the same way.

Uh, he was Mongo from Blazing Saddles.
