My Sister Momoko

Obviously, I think it's like my third favorite anime movie ever.

And that is a movie called My Sister Momoko.

yeah yeah everyone everyone saw this coming but anytime i get a chance to shout out this gem i get to because first of all not many anime in general deal with physical disabilities we're getting more we are getting more of it we saw it with like a silent voice and then with the the midnight moon whatever one the one that's airing now where the girl is blind so like we are getting more representation of that but this is the first one that i've really seen with like I don't know how to describe it.

Like a severe physical disability.

A lot of times in mental disabilities in anime, I see a lot with, like, maybe, like, autism, something along that line, something on the spectrum is what we kind of touch on.

But we never really see, like, full-on, like, more severe mental handicaps.

And that's what My Sister Momoko does.

And it displays both in such a real way because... from what I understand in Japan is that it's not really like talked about, I guess it's like, you've been to Japan before.
