My Heart Skips a Beat

when you look at all the different songs that were there over a legendary career uh talk about together again and how that's really the the single that came out you know for this album coming up in in tribute to your dad too and just what that that song really uh meant to him and meant to country music

well i think because um i was inspired by it when you start looking at different things and stuff this was the b side of a song that came out that also went number one, which was My Heart Skips a Beat.

He didn't think that Together Again was good enough to put on the A side and to release it.

Funny as it was, My Heart Skips a Beat goes up and goes to number one.

Radio stations start playing the B side of that song, that 45.

The next thing you know is Together Again is climbing up.

and passes, my heart skips a beat at number one and it goes number one.

and they flip flop two more times going first and second and first and second and unheard of, never been done again.
