Speaking of, let's go right back to the beginning because the typical question that I open up these interviews with people is, what is your earliest musical memory? What was playing at home for you?

I would say that my earliest musical memory that really resonated with me and really connected me to music would be the track that I have selected by Slade, My Friend Stan.

In retrospect, now I'm older, I understand it, you know, because I think it's there's a lot of subtext to it and all the rest of it and it's a very exciting song and i loved slade the costumes the makeup everything about them

The record that I've chosen, My Friend Stan by Slade, was the first single that I ever purchased.

So to me, it's very, very important.
