Music Together

And actually with the music part of it is my first job at this developmental center was to actually help a parent.

wrangle her son, who was on the autism spectrum, in a Music Together class.

So Music Together is a structured kind of socialization class that they have a lot of times for children with autism, children with special needs, and it's led by a music therapist.

So I really saw the benefit of that.

There's a lot of, you know, the rhythm, the repetitive movements, the, you know, where you... call you know hey repeat after me you know the the call and repeat all of those things to really help progress language within children with autism and i really enjoyed that experience and that kind of got me hooked um i mean really working more in depth with the kids kids with sexual needs um but then from there how i got involved with hands and hearts is one of our clients um at the developmental center I worked at was actually coming up here to receive some specialized therapy.

... which is where I partnered with Music Together, Making Waves, Yoga with Chantal, and then, um, a sleep consultant that will f- be featured at the Spring Mill Distillery.

I love that.

I also think, like, just, I know you're extroverted, but I'm introverted, and so I almost wonder if, like, even just having that activity attached to it releases some of that social pressure, right? Like, I know for me, it would be more challenging to go to something where I know it's all about meeting people.
