Do you want to take us through some of the other references in here, Mike? well at the end of the first stanza max um in reference to this terrorist act the narrator says that all of us take the blame all of us i'm going to use shorthand and say all of us southern men because neil young is going to be referenced obviously and he wrote a song called southern man but meanwhile the swampers that we discussed in the first episode in Muscle Shoals, are making music with everybody in the sun, under the sun.

Michael MurrayHOST
21:37
it was different but to the outsider looking in birmingham stood in for if not all of alabama you know all of the south um neil young is talked about southern ma'am and southern man in alabama both songs critical of the south and so there's a line in the song where where the narrator says neil told some truths with alabama and southern man but there were still good people here and then the line from the song is neil young wasn't around And I have a note in parentheses after that, you should have gotten to know us better.
Michael MurrayHOST
